William Emerson Arnett (; born May 4, 1970) is a Canadian actor, comedian and producer. He is best known for his roles as Gob Bluth in the Fox/Netflix series Arrested Development (2003–2006, 2013, 2018–2019), receiving a nomination for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, and as BoJack Horseman in the Netflix series of the same name. He has appeared in films such as Blades of Glory (2007), Hot Rod (2007), When in Rome (2010), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016). Amy Meredith Poehler (; born September 16, 1971) is an American actress, comedian, writer, producer, and director. Poehler founded the improv troupe and theater Upright Citizens Brigade, was a cast member on Saturday Night Live, and starred in NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation.
After studying improv at Chicago's Second City and ImprovOlympic in the early 1990s, she co-founded the improvisational-comedy troupe Upright Citizens Brigade. The group moved to New York City in 1996 where their act became a half-hour sketch comedy series on Comedy Central in 1998. Along with other members of the comedy group, Poehler is a founder of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. In 2001 she joined the cast of the NBC television series Saturday Night Live. She became co-anchor of SNL's Weekend Update in 2004 until she left the series in 2008 to star as Leslie Knope in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. She also did voice acting including the lead role in Inside Out, as well as parts in Shrek the Third, and Horton Hears a Who!. Poehler is an executive producer on the televisions series Welcome to Sweden, Broad City, Difficult People, and Russian Doll.
In December 2015, Poehler received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contributions in television. She won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Musical or Comedy Series in 2014 and a Critics' Choice Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series in 2012. She began her career on Broadway in the 1985 original production of Biloxi Blues and received a Tony Award nomination for the 1989 revival of Our Town. She has starred in several major Hollywood films, particularly in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including Adventures in Babysitting (1987), Biloxi Blues (1988), Big Top Pee-wee (1988), The Freshman (1990), Awakenings (1990), Kindergarten Cop (1990), Other People's Money (1991), Year of the Comet (1992), and Carlito's Way (1993), for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination.
